Pastor Reginald Davis
Pastor Reginald Davis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Ernest & Josephine Davis and raised in Norcross, Georgia.

While attending college in Nashville, TN, he accepted, Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior of his life, and joined Tabernacle of Faith Church of God in Christ (COGIC) where the late Bishop H. Jenkins Bell, Jurisdictional Bishop and Chief Adjutant for the Churches of God in Christ, pastored. Shortly after graduating from college, he moved to the Washington, DC, area to attend and serve at St. Stephen COGIC. He was mentored by his father-in-law, Bishop Neavelle A. Coles, and has faithfully served in various capacities in COGIC.
In 1998 he was ordained a Deacon in the COGIC. After faithfully serving for 8 years as a Deacon, in 2006 he acknowledged his call to the ministry. In 2008 he was ordained an Elder in the COGIC. He was appointed in 2006 and presently serves as Treasurer and Financial Secretary for the Washington DC Jurisdiction COGIC. Additionally, since 2020 he has served as the Chief Technology Officer assisting in shepherding the WDCJ through the COVID-19 Pandemic with the use of technology. Currently, he serves as the pastor of Kirkland Memorial Second Church of God in Christ in Camp Springs, Maryland.

Most essentially, Pastor Davis has a heart for serving God’s people and boldly carrying out the mission set forth by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Pastor Davis graduated from Tennessee State University in Nashville, TN, with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology, and earned an Executive Master of Health Administration Degree from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. He is married to the lovely Evangelist Deshanta Coles-Davis and they have three wonderful sons - Alex, Nikolas and Jaden. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, grilling and biking.
Evangelist Deshanta Davis
Evangelist Deshanta Davis, is a native of Washington, DC.
She impacts the kingdom of God with a heart that is Christ-centered, courageously teaching and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ with a uniquely calm, yet passionate demeanor while holding firmly to the Word of God. She conveys to hearers a practical application of hope and daily seeking hard after God, while striving to be a woman after God’s own heart. She believes that doing life with God, making Him a priority, leads to good success for Matthew 6:33 (MSG) says, “Steep your life in God-reality, God's provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met.”
Mentored by her father she is deeply aware of the power of relentless prayer, fully embraces living a righteous life, persistently praying, meditating and studying God’s Word. She has gained valuable insight, knowledge and experience in vital areas of the ministry while laboring extensively in varying capacities in the church. This knowledge and experience has equipped her to be a critical contributor and co-laborer along side here husband at their current ministerial assignment. (Or something like that - wordsmith it to make it sound better. Currently, she leads Conversation with God at her church (Prayer Ministry), Co-Chairs the Heart 2 Heart Ministry where she mentors young women, and Co-Chairs the Couple’s Ministry.
Evangelist Davis is married to Pastor Reginald Davis of Kirkland Memorial Second Church of God in Christ, and they are parents to wonderful three sons - Alex, Nikolas and Jaden. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Fisk University, Nashville Tennessee. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family, gardening, biking, and reading.
